Chiropractic Care
Did you know that Chiropractic care addresses far more than just neck and back pain? Although they are experts in spinal care, Chiropractors can treat muscle, joint and nerve pain in all areas of the body.
Did you know that spinal adjustments aren’t the only form of treatment that Chiropractors can offer? Spinal and joint manipulations or “adjustments” are only ONE treatment tool they can use. There are plenty of others in their treatment “toolbox” based on your preferences.
So what is Chiropractic Care?
Chiropractic care is a hands-on, non-invasive regulated health care profession focused on your spine, muscles, joints and nervous system. Chiropractors use their clinical expertise in combination with the best available evidence to make a diagnosis and develop an evidence-informed and patient-centred treatment plan. Contrary to popular belief, chiropractic care includes a variety of treatment approaches including manual “hands-on” joint manipulation and mobilization techniques, soft tissue therapy, electronic modalities (such as therapeutic ultrasound, low level laser therapy, interferential current and hot/cold therapy), as well as rehabilitative exercises and patient education. The goal of chiropractic care is to relieve pain, restore mobility and improve function to improve your overall health and well-being.
